its weird to see ppl that own gas stations in town have nice 2500, superduty, 4x4, lifted, loud, trucks, adn SUV'sand gas is now hitting 4 dollars a gallon hummm thats like dippin your hand in the honey jar

i dont have time now to watch that vid thats over an hour long srry mayb some other time

oil companies are holding gas and oil hostage while the average joe pays a half a paycheck for one week of driving

bush is the stupidiest person on the face of the earth b/c he sent us to war and has his hand in oil too

gas will go down but not to a dollar a gallon like back in the old days (the 90's) just give it time and maybe an american boycott to drive lol

i think owning a v8 when everyone has a 4 banger or a v6 is gonna be funny untill they start giving me **** about "wasting the economy" and "stop wasting gas and save some for someone that actually work" bitch ill beat your *** . . . in the quarter lol

i want things to be like the best time erra in all of times....late 60's to earily 80's(67-82) big fast cars/trucks healthy v8's alot of power....and gas was under a dollar but if i could twist it i want to go back to that time erra with 20-30 grand in my pocket

god damn i love v8's not that damn tomato juice you dumb ****

there quote that!!!!

I don't have time to watch a video over 1 hour long either, just to hear a Baptist minister's opinion on the oil industry. I respect his opinion, as I respect everyone's. Like I said earlier, we see the situation from different perspectives and that's fine.

We don't need to start name-calling and cussing in order to disagree. The very first rule, the VERY FIRST, on the "Dodge Forum Rules" page (https://dodgeforum.com/rules.asp) says that no vulgar language will be tolerated. The very second rule says that we should all respect others opinions. I'm a moderator on another Internet forum (for Chrysler minivans) and we have the very same rules, and we take them seriously. These rules have been violated in this thread by both members and moderators alike. We should all step back and probably agree to disagree and shake hands. It's an emotional subject for many, and it's not worth arguing about (because none of us control the prices anyway).

does it do any good to bitch about gas prices on here? ....arguing on here isnt going to make a damn bit of difference....does it really matter why gas is high? no, the point is its too high for people to afford it...for alot of people its has come down to putting gas in their car, or putting food on the table...
You don't think that they know that we are fired up?? Look around you....the world is pissed...it's all over the news. The fact of the matter is, noone that can do anything about it actually gives a ****. Period.
This isn't an accident. It isn't an accident that Americans are struggling harder and harder each day to survive. It isn't an accident that the economy is falling apart. This is all in the plan of asmall group of greedy, power hungry people. And it's not bad now....if you think times are hard now, wait a couple more years. This WILL get worse- sad tosay, but true.

lol.. then make time.. its not just a minister's opinion.. and see you are already wrong because you cant take 1 hour out of your busy life to watch a movie about somthing that will blow your mind. 1 hour before you go to bed, 1 hour on your day off from work when you want to relax.. the one hour a day you spend on forums typing you dont have time to watch a 1 hour movie..

i promise you, this is mind blowing.. i cant beleive people these days dont have 1 hour.. thats probably why no one knows anything about this, cuz people are to busy to listen to facts.. and to worried about 5 sec opnions from randos.

also the guy doesnt even say one thing about relgion in his movie.. it has nothing to do about god or his beleifs in god.. so if your going to hold back because its a minister... then.. meh.

The guy was told to help the guys in the oil company get along, and the oil company saved alot of money on consoling fees, so they decided to keep him around, and when he was there he had alot of inside friends and info. Facts quotes from the actuall oil gurus, ect..

just watch it.. sheesh.. i dont want any more excuses...

You are absolutely right. Most people these days don't want to take time out of thier busy, little lives to educate themselves about anything. If it interrupts thier lives, of thier daily routine, then it is not important. That's one of the reasons that we as a society have soooo many problems today.

Ilook forward to checking out the vid. Might even watch it twice. And I'ma single dad- my time is valuable. But not too valuable to search for the truth instead of believing whatI am fed to believe.

You are the one who told us to watch it. If it's going to be part of your point of view, it's your responsibility to summarize it. If we all had to take an hour of our time for opinions about something that we can't control anyway, we wouldn't get anything done. I prefer to spend my time on things that I CAN influence.

I pointed you to a website with oil importation numbers and summarized them for you on this forum. If your point of view and perspective rides so heavily on the video, do us the courtesy and summarize what he says in the video, so we can have some talking points.

Yep, we like it. There are folks who enjoy their minivans just as we enjoy our Dakotas, and it's great to have a place to discuss them, just as we can discuss our trucks here.

I'm sitting in a hotel room now; out of town on business. I will watch the video in its entirety. I'm at 1:18 now. He's talking about Russia's quote "super deep" wells. We'll see.
