Last update: If anyone cares.

I told the guy about the distributor wiggle, he probably disregarded it. He looked at the computer and because of the coil code, replaced the coil, distributor cap, and rotor, andwires, and charged me 300+ bucks. Took it for a ride, and said it rides nice, and is fixed.

tried to start it the next morning, same ****.

dakotas suck. I'mpushing it overa cliff.

you keep getting screwed by mechanics don't you?
300 for a tune up? i did the same stuff to mine and only costs like 65.
find out why your distributor wiggles, thats no good and could be the source of your problems to begin with.

ha, yea, I don't plan on going to them for anymore work after that either. It's like anytime I have a problem, they just look for a quick fixby throwing money at it (kinda like iraq).

But this guy isn't as expensive as a dealer mind you. when I brought the truck to a dealer, they wanted to charge us $1,600 just for taking the head off, and telling us that it's something head related.

Well...they were wrong, and I didn't pay anyway.

My parents want me to get rid of it, because it's a money pit (kinda like iraq). But like I told them, you can't just walk away (kinda like iraq).

And I was just kinda pissed when I wrote that last post. Dakotas don't suck. Mine sucks. I love her when she works, but Iam starting tothink it's time to let her go.
