Default Cold Air Intake Issues HELP

So I've seem to hit a road block in my quest to upgrade my 2004 dakota. There seems to be little to no performance modifications to be had I.E a cold air intake system.. Now, do I have a poor ability to use a search engine or is there really no company out there that makes these things?

what size engine do you have??? there have been a few people on here trying to find aftermarket parts for the newer 2nd gens...03 and 04's. i think they are still too new to have alot of aftermarket performance parts for them. JCWhitney is pretty good for parts, and there are a few other places i have seen online that have parts...keep looking

by the way, if you want a CAI, id do a home made one. there are lots of ideas for those if you use the search option on this site. they work as well so im told, and they cost a fraction of a name brand one.

I have a mag 3.7 v6, a buddy and myself were checking it out and he thinks that it looks like there isnt even enough room to put in a CAI. I've read that moving the sensor to fool the computer reading into thinking the air is colder is close to doing the same thing, but i honestly don't want to start ripping out wires if i don't have to.

The 3.7 where in the truck for 1 year so there is almost no aftermarket support.
