Dropped the Dak 2in front 2in rear.. total 3/3 pics inside.
Well after having it for little over 1 year and half or so.. i finally got to lower it.
Used 3in Coils on the front and 2in Steel Blocks on the rear, and replaced the all the Shocks with Pro Comp Toxic Drop Shocks.
Before i was on stock shocks and suspension with about 100k miles. Real bouncy up front and alot of body roll.
now it drives alot stiffer and lot more control.. no body roll, and well looks better muahahha.
did this all for 260 dollars
2in blocks 40$ local buy
3in coils delphi 90$
shocks stylin trucks 130 to my door (free shipping)
Here is the before and after pic, the before pic i also had the R/T badges on it and a bad aligned Bed Cover (came like this), in the after pic i took off the R/T badges, fixed the bed cover to match up the stripes, and lowerd it. :mullet:
also i guess the total drop now would be 3in front, 3in rear, since its lowrd 1in from factory.

Heh, looks good. Does driving it feel a little strange now?

That looks VERY nice, and remarkably level for an even drop front-to-rear.
When you did the front springs, did you have to use a spring compressor to hold the spring while you disconnected the lower A-arm from the knuckle, or is the spring pretty much at full travel by that point so that it just "falls out" with sprung tension?

But ok i put the truck on jackstands, and just unbolted the Lower Control Arm and let it fall down the spring just fell out no problems...
took the old ones out and just lined up the new ones in its place, also had to cut my bumpstops took off about 4in of them, otherwise it would be rubbing/sitting on them.
but after i put the new coil in, i had to get a jackstand under the lower control arm and just push it up.. lines up the bolts and reattached it, wasnt that hard actually.. only thing that was really a pain was getting the front shocks out, due to the Headers i have on there now (Gibson Shorties) the Pasanger side was a total bitch and took the most time.. other then that wasnt hard at all.. I told myself i should have put on my PPH Headers before i lowerd it.. it would of saved me a big headace and time.
For Some Reason the design on the Gibsons the Header wraps around and gives you NO Room to align or remove the passnager shock or control arm, the Mopar PPHs give you more then enough room.. they are sitting in my garadge waiting to get put on, waiting on tax return to get a custom ypipe made so it wont drag the ground.. cuz with it lowerd now the y pipe would probably sit 3in off the ground..
