Default Full exhaust system

I just had some money come in. Who all has replaced their entire exhaust system? What brand did you get? How much was it? What do you think of it?

i did my 05 dak, complete catback. went with the new imco system that is out. 250.00 out the door for a 3 inch single. had to do single, because of the way the rear tire was. most people dont buy a kit antmore, to expensive. get a good set of mufflers and go to a shop and have them bend and hang the pipe. cheaper and most places if you pay in cash, wont charge sales tax

i didnt do the whole system...i kinda put bits and pieces together....i took off the cat and replaced it with a pipethat hasanut welded in iton it hold the O2 sensor...then i welded on a 22" cherry bomb glasspack...then welded a true "Y" pipe and dualed it out both sides while keeping my spare in place. i brought the truck to my good friend who owns a muffler shop and he just looked at it and took a couple of measurments (while still on the ground)and bent it up for me in about 20 mins...(just the driver side) bc the original pipe was long enough for put on 18" tips

i had them as 45's but caught alot of crap so i straitened them out and they look alot better....

http://youtube.com/watch?v=fMcv24hM0cU al in all i think i spent a total of100 buck...

$30 tips
$10 bent pipe
$5 cat replace pipe
$35 cherry bomb
$15 "Y" pipe

ill take pictures of the undercarrage tomarrow and post them...

im taking you got the tax return in? Cuz so did i.

Your talking full exhuast as in HEADERS back or just cat back..

Headers back, pick up a set of PPHs, Spintech, Gibson's, JBLs and slap on a single 3in exhuast..

headers = alot of money around 250-800

work done by shop to bend pipe headers back with custom work, around 250-500 dollars depending on the shop you go to.. i know here in texas thats the going rate, could be diffrent for you.. and good luck finding a place that will gut/ delete the cat if you want to.

yeah i had a shop do mine, cat to performance muffler, duals around the spare and i have dual chrome 3.5X18 inch tips that are rotated to have the slash cut on the same line as my rear quarter panel. total cost, $462.75 (with tax) loud when i get into it, quiet when i am crusin' and at idle is like "you know the potential" but the muffler allows me to keep some backpressure and still get decent mileage. if you do a true straight back, than you run the risk of losing your backpressure and therefore having your sensors go crazy and kill you gas mileage.

This is what mine has, done by the previous owner. I enjoy the sound (I don't typically like Flowmaster, but this one is pretty quiet) and it cost the previous owner $250 installed. If I did it myself (and I won't), I'd probably do a 3" single side exit, like stock, as has alsobeen suggested here.

unless a person races, wants the look of the pipes sticking out the back, or has money to burn, i think a person is just as well off to keep the single exhaust and put a muffler on for the sound. dodge has good exhaust to begin with, one of the better factory systems from what i have read.

i just had a shorty glass pack installed yesterday and love the sound. cost me $40 is all.

check out youtube for video clips...they are cheap and sound great in my opinion
