Default My posssible new ride!!!

soo i was at my friends gf's house...and i noticed that her step dad is selling his 99 ram 1500 5.2L 4x4 SLT.....and i was wondering if this seems like a good buy??

whats been done:
ball joints
fuel pump
front suspension
steering pump
halfway decent tires
new fluids everywhere
kenwood headunit
106,000 miles
regularly maitained

I had a friend that had a 98 or 97 ram with the 5.9 and he had tranny and supension problems. But a coworkers dad has/had one and never had issues with it. I like them and in a few years if i need a full sized truck ill be looking at this or the next gen ram.

If you are really interested have a mechanic you can trust look at it.

You should post this in the ram section too. Just to see what they have to say.

i did post it in the ram section too

and the guy that owns it always brings it to a mechanic even for the littlest things and when they changed all the fluids the mechanic was amazed how good the tranny fluid looked and teh rear end oil was too......idk im kinda looking for gas millage but i dont want to pass up this truck bc i wanted this one when was looking into the one i got now dakota hes just a lil late on selling it dick!

i was gonna sell the dak for this

but not anymore he traded it in for the same truck but an 08'

Ya unless you NEED a full size truck id just work on one of you current cars.

But i hear ya on the selling it to late. I just bought an all wheel drive BMW and 2-3 weeks later my friend found a VW corrado for $1500. Oh well the BMW is better anyways

yea id take AWD over "VW" anyday though it was a perfect truck too damn

Tho i wish i could afford the VW all wheel drive. R32 just in case someone wants to get one for me
