I would change the steering wheel ,but i dont find the adaptator for my dakota 2002.

sorry i cant help with finding a adpt. but be sure and NOT to hammer on the collumn, you can tap gently. sence 1967 all collumns are collapesable, and if you collapes it, it has to be tosed. pardon my spelling. there are a few things that happen when one get old but i cant remember what they are.

 

Me too,i come aged. 51 years to 06/29 but i dont worry. The most important are to be young in the head and what people can say, we don't care.
When we are young we are stupid and we believe to know everything and when we become old we know that we know nothing.

you can buy or rent a steering wheel puller. they are adjustable to fit most cars

I have steering wheel puller, but i search the hub adapter kit for put the other steering wheel.(momo,sparko.....)

 

ok i see what you are saying now...i guess just look at the website of the manufacturer of your new wheel. the new wheel should have parts to go with it
