Default power programmer ???'s

i was thinking about getting a hypertech power programmer for my 01 R/t. upon further investigation, summit racing says that these programmers are unable to change shift fimness and shift points.... that was kind of the whole point of getting one for me. my question is this, is there some product out there that lets me change shift point and firmness AND would it still be worth is to get one of these programmers even w/o the shif things i'm looking for? any noticible power gains? i would rather not have to rip apart the trans to put in a shift kit.... thanks.

I don't think there is one that works with the r/t I looked for one too but superchips is the best if you want performance from what I have heard.
