I've been working on this truck for a couple of months now. A weekend thing. When i start it up it seems to miss fire and stall out. So I gave it a tune up. Still did the same thing. I checked for codes as suggested from other posts. Nothing! So I removed the egr valve. The old dog started right up and race like a pig. So what I was wondering is should I replace the egr valve or is there a problem some where else. Bad fuel air mixture or cloged cat?The only way she will run is if I remove the egr valve. If I cover the holes to the egr it will stall. The egr moves up and down with a vacuum pump. If I try to use the vacuum pump through the seliniod nothing. The seliniod does click when I jump 12v to it. And there is power at the plug. Help please!!

 

I mean solenoid...............Where the heck is spellcheck??
