Default Could use some ideas

So i have finally completed my dual exhaust for my dakota and i put in a flowmaster 40 series muffler, i do alot of towing since i race quad mx, so i was wondering what i could do for an air intake to maybe help out with MPG or HP? Who has what and how do you like it? My comp says im gettin about 13.6 MPG average right now.. i was also wondering if there is a way to install a tranny cooler or tranny temp gauge? Also i was wondering about hi-flow cats? do they really work or are they just used to get a better sound outta your exhaust? any advice or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

P.S- I know if i wanted good gas mileage i shouldn't of got a dodge, but with gas above 4.30 a gal here, im willing to try anything.. lol

ummmm i got the intake that you can build at autozone with the chrome plastic crap.....and mine sounds like a smalll turbo whistle......HF cats help a lil andARE noticable i also have a flowmaster 40 and i love it.....oh and i got one of them there fancy super high flow cats(no cat at all with an eliminator plug) and i can beat a Ninja 250, 96 eclipse manual, and an 04 grandam GT ram air.......i wish i had the 5.2 bc their easier to work on

haha, i went a step beyond LoudPedal45 by going to Home Depot and buying:
1 PVC 90 Degree turn pipe
1 PVC 45 Degree turn pipe
1 PVC straight piping (uses about 10")
1 rubber connector (2.5" to 3")
1 rubber connector (2.5" to 3")

This is what mine now looks like after being sealed together with pvc glue, and painted with heat resistant black spray paint.
