hope this help some of you, was having transmission issues, changed the TPS helped but issues returned, thought it might be a fuel issue so changed the fuel pump/filter. Still no good, was doing alot of looking on the net as I could not believe a 2000 Dakota with 78k could have a tranny going out, found a article about reflashing a computer as part of a trans rebuild, as a shop was still having issues after rebuilds, it got me thinking that maybe the computer needs to be reflashed 1st!!!!!! So I had dodge reflash my computer and now the trans is fine. AAMCO and the Dodge dealer both said I needed a new tranny, and even after the reflash the dealer still said I needed one, went to an independentshop and they hooked it up on their snap on scanner and no codes as well as it drives fine now. So might want to get a reflash before dumping a bunch of money into a trans.
