I have the same question! H E L P !!! I have the '04 Quadcab 4x4 and I can't find a manufacturer anywhere that has an enclosed sub that will fit, without messing up the folding back seat! Have searched the web over and cannot find one manufacturer. Anyone out there have any clues? Has anyone thought about installing a small 6" or 8" sub in the back of the front console? Might be impossible, but I'm getting desperate! H E L P !!!

well i went to my local stereo shop and found out that the only thing i can do without removing the seat is ... Qlogic makes a box that goes under the back seats in the area that the jack is in ...the problem is ( for me ) that it only accomidates one single 8" woofer . which is not enough for me ...

but i will keep searching and post any other info i find ...

Default RE: Subwoofer Question ?????

I put the MTX, or a generic one of it in my truck...Got two 10" Kicker 4 ohm DVCs. they didnt fit, so i had to make some elevation rings and I rewired the stock setup. The only complaint i had is that the kiddy seat hold downs on the pass side present a problem in putting the box in. I cut mine out with a cutoff wheel. Other than that, the rear seats dont fit as flat as they do stock, but they fold down with a small adjustment, and still work. Plus a lady sittin in the back might be happy...lol. Anyway, MTX makes a box, and you can get it loaded for like 250ish on eBay, or an unloaded one for like 190. Let me know if you want any help...They also make one for quad cabs, but I am not sure how it deals with the seat functions...

I have the mtx box loaded with rockford fosgate p2s 10" and lets put it this way THIS THING ROCKS bE patient taking out the rear panels you have to lift them out overall this is a sweet mod. It will work better than anything else out there trust me ive been through the headache and for the love of god dont get it loaded because those mtx subs have 4 wires each to them. they suck really bad because unless you have say a 1200 watt amp bridged and that will be hard to fit under the seat trust me run two 600 watt amps bridged to two p2s and youll jiggle your girs tweeter
