some people like glass packs and some dont...personal preference i guess...i think they are great and got one myself. they are cheap and i like the sound...i paid $40 installed for mine and its a whole lot better than $300 or more for one of those big brand systems...i can think of many other things to spend $300 or more on than an exhaust system that i will get more bang for my buck on

That hooker one looks good, but is a little more pricey.
Do you think the charry bombs would sound tinny or anything?

Sounds good, i'll go with the cherry bomb then, and hopefully a header set, should help a little.
Is this the one i want? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...53327&rd=1

if you plan on headers then you ought to put duel exhaust on. you will be wasting money on the cost of the headers if you dont. ive seen conflicting reviews on headers for these trucks...

ive seen as dyno tests say that a 318 dakota will gain as much as 25 HP and on the flip side i have read that the factory single exhaust is slightly better than duel...id do more research before you go to the work and expense

The problum is finding info on it. I'd love to put duel on it. But i might have to wait a tad till i get some more money. How hard would it be? I'd need new cats and all huh?

unless you can do it all or most of it yourself it can be pretty expensive to do all that. headers alone cost over $300. then you have to get 2 cats and 2 mufflers which will cost at least $200 if you buy glass packs, if you buy a name brand muffler that price goes up to nearly $400. then getting duel exhaust installed can be at least $200 if not more...so if you go cheap and shop around, you will spend at minimum $700.

for me its just not worth it, but for some who have the money thats great.

i can think of alot of other stuff to do with $600 plus dollars, but thats just me

There will be no labor cost for me, i know some folks.
And i wont be buying headers if i cant find a cheap/used set for about $100. How much would a high flow cat cost? $20 each for glass pack mufflers so that's only $40 there...
