no sir, all automatics. It seems all performance trucks are like that. The Ford Lightning is auto, S10 Extreme is auto, Pretty sure the old 454 chevy 1500 was auto too. Probably because they dont make enough...? Not real sure.

The 5.2 Sports came with the option to get a NV 5 speed. And the Auto 46re that was put with the 5.9 R/Ts had a high HP/TQ % Cut about 22% to the avg 15-18% to all other trannys, after the 5.2 and NV 5 speed to the 5.9 46re they both put down about the same amount of HP to the rearend.. its sad.

But the 5.9 is the same block as the 5.2 and you should be able to bolt on a 5 speed out of a 5.2 to the r/t, many people have done it, and if you want to get techincal and sick at the same time, you can do a viper 6 speed, but thats a bit more work.

Im not postive but i think the 5 speed with the 5.2s are the NV4500s. If you want to start looking for one.

not hard at all, only thing that would suck is cutting the floor to put in the shifter.. other then that everything should hook right up.
