Default 5.2 motor swap, need help!!

Hi,
Roght in the middle of pulling the 5.2 from my truck.

Got everything but 2 converter bolts. I cant get at them & cant seem to spin the motor (may be locked up).

Anybody got any ideas?? The new motor is ready & waiting. I dropped my tools to come post this looking for an answer!!!!

Thanks,

tried the key & starter method, tried putting it in neutral & spinning it by hand even tried using a prybar on the flywheel gently. I just bought the big socket set & breaker bar for the balancer bolt will try that here shortly. I have the oil pan off so I can get at most rod bolts if that helps.

I am open to other thoughts, thanks.

I just did this on my truck, What it took was someone turning the engine with the big socket and breaker bar, and someone holding the fly wheel with a screw driver... Or if you can get a hammer claw and the sprockets and just pull down...

get a buddy to put on a REALLY TOUGH pair of gloves and hold the flywheel while you crank on it with a 3 foot cheater bar.

You do have the spark plugs out, don't you? Makes it a lot easier to turn motor over.

Nope plugs were not out-but they will be first thing in the am, also bought the 32mm socket & breakerbar tonight. So I'm gonna bust it loose or break something trying!
