for some reason its really difficult to find any kind of programer or chip for my truck i own 3.9 02 dakota if anyone could help me that would be great thanks

 

Superchips flashpaq 3815 or Max Micro Tuner 3715

 

Flashpaq 3815 advertises nice gains of about 20 HP and 30 Torque...

 

once you find the chip update us and let us know if it hurts your gas mileage and if the horsepower gain is signifigant.

 

well i bout a 3715 chip used and i am getting it reprogramed and updated so i will inform u about what i get out of it in about 10 days or so but there is also a fuel economy option on it where u can actualy boost ure mpg

 

i plugged in the superchip tuner set it to performance. I noticed some power gain but my gas mileage dropped from 17 to 15. Could have been from stepping on the pedal too much testing it out. I added the cold air intake and after the PCM caught up after a couple tanks of gas, it rounded off to a nice 17.5 city and 22 highway (baby the gas). air conditioning is killing my gas mileage right now (back down to 16) along with major power loss. hope my v8 throttle body (waiting to arrive via ups) can help!
i have never tuned it up for best gas mileage yet.
