Default Running truck with added water power

I don't know if anyone else has came across this but I have seen numerous things talking about running your car on water, well actually the water is turned into HHO gas and helps give you better gas mileage. Has anyone seen or actually done this to their truck? If you have how much of difference did it make? And what did you do, what things did you have to buy and put together?

No kidding, I thought Iwas the only one who had heard of this. The product I had seen is called a P.I.C.C.
(Pre ignition catalytic converter)
I too wonder if anyone has ever thought about this system.

I don't see the water one working because it says he can burn steel, therefor causing problems, but picc looks interesting...

Both of these products are snake oil. You can't imagine the amount of R&D that goes into fuel economy and emissions at Dodge and every other auto company out there. Somehow, all those highly-trained and -paid engineers failed to overlook these two very simple technologies? No. If the technology were real, it'd hvae already been used.

Here are the two places I came across when I first heard about it. I never heard anything about the P.I.C.C. (Pre ignition catalytic converter), that doesn't seem to be affected at all. But I was curious about the two sites below. Maybe it is something new and hasn't gotten around yet, like the using cooking grease in diesels instead of gas.

I don't know if it really works or not, but if it did I would try it. But I didn't know if it's just another product that doesn't really work like throttle body spacers.

Vegetable oil in diesel engines is not new. In fact, you'll note that in 1937, a patent was held by a G. Chavanne for the use of vegetable oil as a fuel oil. In addition, Otto ran his diesel engine on peanut oil at the 1900 World's Fair, and was an early promoter of using bio-based oils as fuel. But since petroleum became cheap, that's what we started using. Now that petroleum is becoming less plentiful, the pendulum is finally swinging back towards a renewable fuel.

None of this stuff is new, and there is no free lunch. If it does better your economy, something else is becoming compromised. If you can convert your car to run on water and better your fuel economy by 100% by buying a $100 kit off eBay, you've got to question that. If it were that easy, Detroit would be doing it.
