Default New Dakota Owner!

Hows it drivin?

I'm new to this forum and I just recently purchased a 1998 Dodge Dakota SLT Ext Cap pickup.

It comes with
5.2L V8 auto w/3.55 rear and 4 wheel drive

31' tires in forest green and the body/frame looks better than some of the 02 and 03 models I looked at.

85K miles all for $4K.

I cant wait to mod(Mud) it out.

I should have some pics up by this weekend.

I was split between the 4.7 and 5.2 and it was hard to get a newer Dak with that low of miles for under 6K.

The 5.2 has a longer track record too so I figured I couldn't go wrong with it.

Of course I also love the low end V8 growl that the 5.2 puts out.

I don't know why you would wish for that, everytime my car has decided to say that I have been stuck on the side of the road or looking for a new car.

I would wish for the day when my car says give me more power or hey theres a $20 under the seat for ya.
