ive noticed in the past week that my fuel gauge dosent work...kinda

i started it up on monday and the fuel light came on when i had a half tank a hour eairlier

just today at 3 it did it again...

the only way to get my fuel to read is to turn off the truck and restart it

its possible that the float has a bunch of gunk on it..... maybe toss some fuel system cleaner into your next full tank? see if that works.

always a good deal.... especially at 9.4 MPG. although it is a bit disturbing to see my R/T pull in the driveway with a bed full of flowers and whatnot.....

LOL. I would try some seafoam that stuff seems to do the trick in a lot of cases... May also be a wire somewhere not working properly...
