Default Air Vents

Well, I am driving along and out of no where my air vents stop blowing air. But there is no Problem with the air be blown, I can hear it but I can't feel it out of any vents, the odd time this will just randomly happen. Sometimes stopping and restarting the truck helps, but not usually... Just wanted to know what may cause this? Any ideas?

It's like the air flow gets stuck halfway between changing to other vents.

that's what it probably is, the unit the changes the air flow. mine takes a good 20 seconds to do a full change of direction. guess the resistor pack for the hvac controls isn't the only problem with that system?

i in NOW WAY condone this but:

me n my friend went offroading in his ZJ and got about windshield deep in a river (its cool, i built a snorkel for him), anyway..... next week, (let it sit for a while) he opened the door and was almost floored by the smell of mold. basically he stabbed a Lysol can with a knife and bombed it in the car with all the windows rolled up. never smelled like mold again...... smells like a big lemon even 4 months later, but not like mold.

I had a similar problem on my Dodge Ram with the 360 - it seemed to occur every time the engine was under load.

Potentially a vacuum leak somewhere? If I'm thinking correctly, the MVAC system is controlled by vacuum actuators in the Mopar pickups.
