supercharger for 98

Default supercharger for 98

anyone have info on the best electric supercharger for a 98 dakota? 3.9 magnum v6

the only good electric supercharger is a dead electric supercharger. those things are garbage. i would sooner but a throttle body spacer (which does nothing) because then when people see my engine at least they would think that i was gullible, not that i was stupid. plus then you can double it as a paper weight.

Thanks, you may have just saved me some embarrassment as well as headache. I am still looking for a little more power without sacrificing fuel economy though, any suggestions?

haha yeah their def a waste...cold air intake with a heat shield and exhaust with not to big of a size pipe would probably give you a little better throttle response and fuel economy...not sure about the pipe size on a 3.9 but i went with 2.25 on my 4.7 and its about perfect so def not bigger than that if you go duals.

if you have a mechanical fan switch to electric, it can free up about 10 horse.

yeah or just remove the stock clutch fan on your truck i did it on mine but put it back on becuase it ran a little hot in the hot weather but as soon as it gets colder out again im gonna take it back off
