i want to put a viper style cowl hood on my dak. i was wondering if any of u know where i could fnd one preferbly steel but if its a quality fiberglass i will settle

they only make them in fiberglass
i'll look them up in a bit, but i do know that you will need to de-tension your hood springs, they will push up slightly on the hood and the fiberglass will have a slight arch along the sides

Ya i can vouch that you need to de-tension your hood springs, both of the Suncoast Fiberglass hoods i had arched in the middle, im still trying to figure out how to do this. I was told to loosen a bolt, but after looking at it.. im not sure what the hell there talking about.
