Default power programmer/ chip question

so, i'm lookin at power programmers and chips. i know that eventually the PCM works around the chip so you need to disconnect the battery and so on and so forth. my question is this, do you think if i got them both they would work well with eachother? or should i just go get one or the other?

i've heard good things. the only thing that really PISSES ME OFF< is the fact that i can't change my shift points via tuner. that really grinds my gears.

if thats the case you'd have to get their new tuner the flashpaq because the older model max microtuner isn't updateable and everything i've read about the superchips on the 5.9 is good people love the shift firmness, power increase so i would say that being able to change the shift points is only a slight negative...im still pretty sure i read somewhere that the 5.9 guys could adjust the wot shift points im researching now ill let you know if i can find what i was reading before

I think that when you raise the rev limiter it raises each gears shift point a little higher...seems that the 5.2/5.9 guys like the hypertech and that the superchips is more noticeably on the 4.7 at least from what I've read about there is a lot of talk other places at least more then on here pm me if you want and ill send you the link

I would get a superchips. the 3815 for the hemi's you can adjust your shift points and all that that varsis said. but for the 318's and 4.7's its different. I have had superchips on both my trucks. and you can notice a pretty good difference. just look around and get a used one, you save a bit of money, thats what I did both times
