Default Lowering the rear...

Does anyone know where I can get some drop shackles for the rear on a 2003 Dakota 2wd? I have searched quite a few places but cant find any shackles. I can just find lowering blocks. If blocks are the only way to go how bad is the ride with 2" lowering blocks for the rear?

well blocks can collapse and cause some nasty problems, thats the only reason why I would stay away from them. Shackle is so much better,,, Thats what im doing with leafs, might get some blocks to level it out at first till I get money for everything as my swap is costing a lot...

Aluminum blocks on a V8 can collapse, on a v6 they are fine.

Use Steel Blocks on v8s and you will be fine.

Blocks are not bad, and work just fine and are a hell of alot easier to install then shackles.

I have 2in steel blocks on mine and it rides fine, but i also replaced my shocks with Toxic Drop Shocks, so it rides a bit more rough now and not as bouncy
