Default I need help with electrical problem

The other day my 99 Dakota's CEL came on. At the same time the ABS and brake light came on too. My speedo also stopped working. Anyone know if there is a specific sensor that needs to be replaced? Or could it be a bad PCM? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a speed sensor problem to me. I'm guessing the wheel speed sensor on top of the rear end. Easy to check. Grab a multi-meter set to ohms scale, unplug the sensor and test across the terminals of the sensor. Normally when those go bad they go open. If you have resistance, probably a good sensor. If the resistance is really high or infinite, probably bad. I think the sensor is about 30 bucks or so...very easy to install.

Thanks, I think that might be what it is. I ordered the part yesterday, hopefully will fix it.
