Default valve cover leak

ok, so now that i have my DL back i find a new problem...
my valve cover leaks, i've tried several times to fix the rubber seal with no avail,
the gasket is fine, it just never stays in place as i install the cover
any ideas,
or if i could use a silicone tube type, we use it at work because it seals better than the standard gaskets

any ideas let me know

i wouldn't mess with silicon gaskets might get it into the engine. Make sure the gasket it clean than maybe use a little bit of gasket sealer. and put it on top only, just to hold the gasket to the cover.

just make sure the surface of the head and cover are clean, wipe off the gasket and torque that mother down... to spec at the most... and silicone is only good for one thing... implants, haha. just like how i remember the firing order for a diesel inline 6, 15 is too young, 36 is too old, 24 is just right... 1-5-3-6-2-4

thats how i've done it twice already, but the rubber gasket does not cooperate,
i'll just do the stick it to the cover trick,
but the cloud of smoke trailing me does keep tailgaters off my ***...
