Its actually put there for mail, paper, receipts, etc. Our 08 T&C has the same thing, but embedded into the plastic it has a little paper clip shape.

 

i still think it pretty pointless, cause i tried hanging a peice of paper in there yesterday and it flew out the damn window.

I use mine to store gas credir cards. OK you say thats stupid, somene will break the window and take them. I have the ultimate $7.00 security system. Blue flashing LED that turns on when the key is out of the ignition.

 

its funny cuz everyone when they ride in my truck for the first time asks about it. it is really pointless but going along with what user said, just make something up, its what guys do.

 

my dad uses it to hold his notes (he makes them on the backs of old buisness cards) and keeps them up there mine has the overhead computer

 

it can be the icebreaker, so i guess its not all that bad

i just break the ice and say "so whats your favorite position?" and while they look at me in disgust i just say... "so??? what is it"

thats a good way to break the ice and skip the melting part and go straight to hellfire...

if it was a guy... and i had to break the ice with them, that would make me gay... and well im not...
