3.55 gears are great highway gears, preferably for out west where msot of the terrain is flat. 3.92 is ideal for mostly highway use with the ability to take off in mountainous areas, same with 4.10 gears... 4.55 is if you're off road a lot or like to launch fast but you defiantly sacrifice top speed

Well im looking more at the drag racing side of performance but it is also my daily driver so i need something that will work well in all aspects around town , highway, and for a decent launch on a lineup. And being I have an R/T I dont go offroad .

3.92 is stock on r/ts I would go 4.10 or 4.56, 4.56 youll launch fast but youll lose MPG espec on highway

4.10, i wanna go 4.10 but i thinks its kind of a waste right now. first of all i could use that money to try and dig out of debt a little (yeah right) or buy a cam (hehehe) and secondly i dont think i would even feel the difference between the stock 3.92. maybe when this rear end ***** out i'll do it

going from 3.92s to 4.10s is not that big off a difference.

Your R/T comes stock with a 9.25" rear end with a locking 3.92s, if you want drag gears go with 4.56s

what mods do you have right now? Your power band will be moved and if most of your power is done from 3K+ then 4.56s will do good, but if your running stock intake and everything else i would suggest sticking with 3.92s till you upgrade the came and intake manifold/heads...

Im running stock 3.92s and i have alot of mods and its fine for now. Im about to install a Custom APS Valve Body and have a custom Cam grinned "sausage cam" for the r/t power band will be somewhere around 2500-6k so i planned on doing 4.56s and a 3200-3800stall... it would be perfect!

again if you dont have much done, try looking into getting a Shift Kit (trans go) or a custom Valve Body made the the 46re tranny...

these guys are awesome people to deal with, and all there work is custom, and everything comes with a trans go shift kit for the valve body.. and its not that expensive after the core charge you get back. Ide also suggest doing most of the upgrades and DO GET the sensors.. you will need them..

your link just goes to the homepage... what part are you talking about.

Most of these work is dealing with Trannys. But they also make some custom products that help out with the engine and other things.

Custom Tbs
Stalls
Mopar Perf. Valve Cover Baffles (i have these)
Plenum plates and Gaskets for the Stock Intake manifold
Air Hat Spacers
VBs
Shiftkits
ect...

and to answer your question.. yes it would be a place to beef up your tranny. or get a new one.

Sorry i though i copied the url right maybe not. i was questioning what this was "Plenum plates and Gaskets for the Stock Intake manifold". My dad told me something about under the intake manifold a gasket blowing and then it leaking oil. Something or other along thoose lines. is this kinda the problem fix for that or can you explain. thanks
