I just had the Magnaflow installed on my 2001 Dakota SLT 4 X 4, 4.7L. After talking with my mechanic at Walt's, he said the Flowmaster resonates alot more into the cab of the truck. (More noise). I had the single in - duel out installed and really like it (magnaflow). Sounds great when you have to put your foot into it and at the same time, is nice when you're just cruising down the freeway. And I've noticed a little bit better response and a little more quickness out of the block.
I'm not sure I fully understand this mod about the 180 degree thermostat. Not sure what it actually does for the truck as far as performance and such.
Hope this helps.
Ecsencially what the play maler had said. but when your truck rattles this solves that problem. but i am pretty sure it is dedicated toward the older blocks. i used to put unleaded in but when i put mid grade in it stoped MAYBE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT WAS MENT FOR. i guess i should have looked at the manual.
dude dont do it those rims look terrible on a truck they are a car rim PLEASE dont do that to an R/T i might have to hunt you down and do somtehing really bad to you if you buy them and put them on
