Default air/ fuel ratio faze problems

i need to know the singal wire that i have to tap into to make this gauge work. i bought it to goodyear and two days after the o2 sensor it was tapped into was bad. rereading the installment sheet i found that the guy hooked it up wrong. i have two books haynes 30022 and 30021. i have a 2000 dodge dakota rt 5.9 360.. i hooked it to the wiring i tought was right but i was wrong. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME COLOR ON UPSTREAM OR DOWNSTREAM for this to work...?

this is the instructions i recevied with the gauge http://www.sunpro.com/publish/2004/0...lish_16293.pdf

please help this is the second o2 sensor i went threw but following the haynes book i dont know what else to do............

i personally would never tap into the o2 sensors that rum to the PCM, just to avoid communcation problems between the sensors and the comp. better off installing your own o2 sensor for the gauge to use all by itself.

+1 to that one. And besides, if you bought a narrowband air/fuel gauge and you are putting it on a EFI engine, all it is going to do is sweep back and forth and will never give you a really accurate reading.
