I tried putting the key first and waiting a bit, waited and the fuel pump turned on started and no problems. But not sure if thats the case, maybe a bad contact in the key somewhere... It's not that new! lol 1997.
if the engine isnt starving for fuel at high rpms then i wouldnt worry about your fuel pressure. you can always wait for the pump to cycle off when you turn the key, than start it. i still say throw a trickle charger on the battery over night. i left my charger on for too long, where the battery had 13 some odd volts, cracked the starter and she just screamed to life.
