+1, i ran my wire under the cup holders and into the arm rest. Never see it and it works awesome w/ my Alpine head unit. I can change songs and what not with the head unit instead of having to do it with the ipod. I love it too.

Cool iPod Mod' Revisited

If you have a factory head unit with the CD changer capabilities, you might want to look into one of these options.

I have the first one. Installed it under the dash and into the center console in about 45 minutes. It's THE WAY TO GO if you want crystal-clear sound out of your iPod.

not to steal a thread here, but has anyone withe 01-04 clutser notice the setting for where the air blows is hard to get right. Like trying to set it on de-frost and feet or just defrost? The **** turns more clicks than there are options on the dash and I find it hard to sometime get it to do just what I want. Anyone else noticed this? Or atleast know what im talking about lol

yeah i know what you are talking about. i have thought of that before but never tried to figure it out and basically just look and see where it is at. does putting it "in the middle" mess anything up or not have the vents open all the way?

Sometimes if it is in the middle i might not get air coming out of anything. Sometimes ill think I have it on just defrost and ill feel it on my feet or just on feet and feel air on my face.

i have a 8gb usb stick and then my xm wires goin behind the dash to the aux port on my sony haha i was a dumb *** when i tried to make a place to velcro my remotes onto the dash...armorall'd the dash right before i tried to stick the velcro on, needless to say it fell right off since it was greasy, oh well i find them every once in a while and its easier in my truck to just reach up and changes things than it was in my cherokee.
