yes 5 inches is ridiculous. do true dual 2 1/4 pipe with 3 1/2 tips with about 18 inch glasspacks.

Ive got twin glasspacks on my 4.7 with turn downs just before the axle so that it can resonate off the ground. Im not a big fan of pipes sticking out the back of my truck. Plus it adds a nice effect whenever i lay into it on a dirty road... The sound is nice, not too bad while driving down the freeway, it seems to have a nice sweet spot around 2k where it just purs... I got all my work done free, my packs came off of a 65 camaro the guy wanted to put flowmasters on...told my brother he could keep the packs, and the same day he called me and told me to come up to midas where he worked and he made me a Y pipe and a support brace, welded em on...$0.00 priceless

Have the pipes come right out before the right rear tire. I think that looks sweet like on the ford lightning's. Not many trucks out there have it.

I'd like to do the side exit in front of the tire too, actually. But for now, I'll just stick with my single 3" with no cats and magnaflow with a turn-down

5 inch tips are for diesels. just go with like 3.5 at the biggest or else as the other guy says, you look like a ricer. when are you getting these on? post pics
