Default stock tire size?

my truck when i bought it had 255-70-r15 Douglas Proformance tires

the PO said that the "nascar pros" originally were 265-55-15

so i was just wondering whats the widest low pro tire i can put on my stock rims to lower the truck without looking mega ultra gay....

and what are the tire sizes that you guys have on your trucks?(relitive to my situation)

if im not mistaken, that tire is gonna be around 10 1/2 inches wide have a section width of near 2 inches... so pretty much your dimensions will be around 19 (over all diamerer)x10.5 (overall width)R15.... thats gonna look ridiculous.....thats like putting in 5:1 gears (im just guessing). great for take offs, forget about looks and fuel milage.
