Default 4.7L CNG conversion?

Does anyone know if there's a CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) conversion for our vehicles? Google and Yahoo! aren't helping much.

No. He wants to. Because I work building natural gas pipelines and am trying to get into a gas plant where they make sour gas into sweet gas (AKA Natural Gas). I need people like him to buy the natural gas. Although we do sell A LOT to the USA for heating homes.

I don't think there is an EPA approved conversion for the 4.7V8
but these guys in Asheville NC would know:

http://www.transecoenergy.com/

From 1992 to 2001 Chrysler did sell a CNG only 5.2V8 in fifteen passenger vans

from what i have heard about the CNG Honda Civic, it has to be filled just about every night. That is pretty bad for a 4 cyl and would be even worse on a 4.7

Finally getting back to this thread. After doing a hell of a lot of research it's totally not worth it for a V8. Currently, there are no conversion "kits" that will provide the proverbial "bang for the buck". From the folks I've talked to, without extensive mod's, a straight conversion would leave my poor Dakota as underpowered as having a couple of squirrels under the hood.

Thank God gas is under $2.00 a gallon around my area. I can afford to go play again on the weekends.
