yeah dude, you're gonna off it, especially if its either city driving or a hilly highway. i had 235/75R15s and i went to 30x9.5R15. fuel mileage remained the same. the tire is wider than stock, causing rolling resistance, so i went with a tire proportionally taller to make up the fuel mileage loss in lower engine speeds. my 30x9.5s also force my odometer to read only 9/10 per mile.. so in other words, in reality drive 100 miles, odometer reads only 90... great for leases.. hahaha jk. dont do that, it's illegal.
About the leases though, wouldn't that put the same wear on it as that amount of miles? I mean I think it would.
yeah same wear and tear, but everything is done by what the odometer says, so its like getting free miles in the long run.
and for 2001, i suggest either sticking with the 235s for a daily commuter, or if your not worried about fuel mileage that much, go with the 30s, they actually compliment the truck nicely for being 30x9.5R15s
