I'm looking at 03 dakota sport 4x4 quad cabs. These trucks all seem to come with factory fender flares. One that I am looking at does not. Does anyone have any info as to what models the flares came on, or did not come on?

Seemed odd to me that everyone I've seen has them; except this one that I am interested in - has V8, all power, factory tow hitch, AC, Cruise
1. Did any 4x4's come with out flares?
2. Is this thing a wreck that has a nice paint job but they didn't replace the flares?

A few other possible clues - it does not seem to have a trim package other than Sport, and it does not have a rear sway bay.

.....any insight would be much appreciated.....

 

Im not real sure on this either. I had two sports; one had flares one did not. Im not real sure why

 

my slt has flares that are a different color than the rest of my truck... like this:

Thanks for the input....anyone have a 4x4 without flares? If so what model/package?

 

Mine has the same color flares as the body and is a Sport with all the heavy duty stuff and towing package.

 

mine is without fender flares. It's the base model that gets It I believe. Also, my neighbor has a black sport one and it didn't have flares either.
