Default doin a little 408 research.......

and i came across this......

and i was just wondering, whats the cu in difference between the .030" .040" and .060"? does the regular 408 build require a bore? if not im still gonna do one just to clean up the cylinders.

the 408 is a actually bored 360 block,

All you need to do is notch the block for a stock 408. but boring will add more area so more power... which would be larger than a 408...

haha i said a 408 not a 4 bannger with a V8 badge! i guess you could get one of those GIANT tractor 4 bangers and you'd have more than a 408 .....im sure they have plenty of tractors in OHIO! LOL.



....and yes i know a 408 is a 360 block, and yes i know that i will have to notch no matter what, my question would be what size does a 30 over = and what size does a 40 over = and what size does a 60 over = in CUBES????

hmm, a v6 with the stroker kit will be a 306.... hm, one bad a*s 3.9 v6 magnum, vrooom. haha
