Default Supercharger

im lookin into supercharging my 2000 r/t. i wanna run 6-8 psi. it has headers, cold air intake, superchips flashpaq prog. i have 105k miles on the motor right now an im alittle worried about that. im planning on getting a m1 intake and a holley throttle body. just wondering what the best bang for the buck?, will my milage be a problem?, should i get forged internals? anything else u guys can think of to help me would be great.

forged internals arent an issue if you hang around 6 psi.long tube or shortie headers? you should get long tubes. M1 would help tremendously, as would the TB, go with a fastman TB, seems to bes best bang for your buck. as far as WHAT supercharger?..... not really my department..... sorry.

I would have to say that my Powerdyne is pretty good for the money. You don't have to worry about running oil lines like a Vortech or Procharger, but Procharger's brackets and drive are alittle better designed.
Regardless of what supercharger you end up using, you might as well go ahead and change head gaskets too because stock gaskets are going to blow. Forged internals aren't an issue at 6-8 psi. You will have to ditch the programmer due to timing advance that you can't have.
If you really want to go blown, I would suggest getting a MSD 6BTM ignition box and 24 lbs injectors. The MSD lets you retard timing per pound of boost, and with stock injectors your air/fuel will run lean.
Even with 24 lbs injectors, my mileage isn't much different than stock. I get about 13 in town and about 18 on the highway.
I hope this answers some of your questions.
