Default muffler myths...... this one sounds true.

as far as break in time, usually 4-6 weeks for full resonance, right? but i have read torching that motherf*cker with a propane torch can break her in faster. just put it through its break in heat cycles faster, ya know? i already notice a dramatic change just in 2 days with sound.... a lot smoother and deeper, less raspy (sounds like i just described a good BJ right there). any truth to this muffler myth u guys?

i know that with glass packs if you rapidly heat and cool them it weakens the packing material and causes it to burn up and blow out easier

My Flowmaster has been on for 3months the tone is still changing, getting louder and deeper. Torching it would have a negetive effect on corrosion resistance.

yea, yea it would. but there are 3 fundamental flaws,

*gas is too expensive

*foot to floor in a R/T = massive burnout = new tires = $$$

*cops LOVE foot to floor, im pretty sure i have single handedly paid for about 3 new police cruisers.
