How do I find out which wire controls my electric fan? I got in a accident and one wire got ripped out of the fan so I needed to buy a new one. How can I tell out of all those colored wires which one controls the fan.

should have over heated with the mechanical fan, if you got into a front ender and it snipped the wires, your radiator maybe cracked, have you checked your coolant level, leaks, etc? if im not mistaken, the electric fan is pretty much for stop and go traffic, along with the a/c in use, and low road speed.

I am thankful for that but arent there like a million green wires in the wiring harness?
