Default A newbie with a ninety-nine

Hi guys, I just took delivery of a 99 Dakota, and I'm really pleased with it! It has 66k kilometers ( about 44k miles ) and is a one owner, no hits, no stories, used truck. Looks brand new. No power nothing, and no A/C, but the drivetrain is just right, and black is my favourite colour. I'm looking forward to a pile of fun with it. It jumps off the line with the 3.92 gears for sure! And the previous owner installed 255/70-15 Goodrich tires - they ride and steer well, but when I replace them what size would be best?

welcome. do some research on the forum, search button is your guide. btw depends on what tires to get based on what you want the truck for. i got 30x9.5R15s to give my truck the more aggressive look to where the tires look proportional to the truck's size.

Sorry guys - I meant the truck is a stripper - no options except the diff and the engine. So nice manual window cranks, a factory CASSETTE player (I didn't know they made them then....) and manual mirrors and locks. But the thing is, it all works! And the engine compartment is amazing - no clutter, you can see the road. Of course a few years ago I was dumb enough to buy a 94 Z28 Camaro, and blew the head gaskets out of that thing (along with a few other little problems) and you can't even see the plug wires on those.
Which is why I now own a Dodge. I had a 67 Barracuda years ago, and an 80 Cordoba ( nice ride actually), so I like the small blocks.
Thanks for the responses!
