I have been able to drive all of them except a 6 speed SRT car, mainly because I haven't seen one yet. You are right though the 6 speed is the next gen T56 out of the 2008+ Viper. While the 6 speed R/T is an absolute blast to drive, I think the automatic would take it. The only thing that blows is that with an automatic, the only gear option is 3.08 but you get 3.73 or 3.92 options with the 6 speed.
