I can get the stock head unit out no problem now that im home. Maybe friday ill take her out. Im too consitrated on that turkey for tomorrow lol

That one is for 02-06. So I suppose I should just take out my stock unit and look at the back and see which one will work. I have an 01 head unit from my old dakota and ill take the one out of my 02 and compare them and then compare them to which adaptor I can get.

These are a good way to go. You still have to change songs on the iPod itself though.

I don't mind controling through the iPod. I usually just pick a playlist and let it play. I drive a lot of long highway miles so I usually just listen to it and don't get to fussy with what songs are playing.

Then it works! Just get a car charger and get it running! You shouldn't have a problen with clarity either since it's not FM modulated.

is there one that lets you change playlists and such from the head unit? besides going aftermarket?

Yep, that's what this does... It's an adin to the factory head unit. Will controll iPod just like a CD changer.
