Default transmission question????????????

i know a guy who says his dakota pops out of gear when he turns left and only when he turns left. it is an automatic and it should not be doing that any ideas as to why it is doing that or any similar problems you have had or heard of.

it is a 1999 dakota reg. cab 4x4, auto, V6. if you need more info just ask.

i got a liltte more info from him he said it doesn't actually pop put of gear it
cant find the gear after exiting the turn then after a minute it finds the gear and drives.

any suggestions. besides rebuild the transmission

sounds like low fluid level. had the same problem. fluid would shift to one side, pump would lose it. release the clutch packs in the transmission. transmission went 2 months later after doing that for about a month

he said fluid is ok and it just started about 2 weeks ago.

any other suggestions?

so i just read in an article that all of this plays into how the transmission will work.
what is most likely to be the problem ? i am thinking TPS

Direct Inputs

*Throttle Position Sensor
*Crankshaft Position Sensor
*Transmission Range Selector
*Transmission Temperature Sensor
*Input Shaft Speed Sensor
*Output Shaft Speed Sensor
*Line Pressure Sensors
*Overdrive Switch

Indirect Inputs

Indirect inputs to the Transmission Control Module (TCM) are the result of Powertrain Control Module (PCM) outputs that represent various engine operating conditions (i.e. engine load).

*engine/body/axle ratio
*intake manifold pressure
*target idle speed
*torque reduction confirmation
*engine coolant temperature
*ambient air temperature
*fuel temperature (some models)
*air conditioning compressor enabled
*battery temperature
*charging voltage
