Exclamation Few questions bout a 3.9 w/ a V8 TB

Ok so I am buying what I need to do this swap and just need to be sure I get everything. Are the 3 sensors the same from the 3.9 to the 5.9? Im pretty sure the TB gasket is the same too but just wanna hear it again

Other than the throttle cable from a V8 is there anything else I need to do or buy to make this work?

OH and what do I torque the TB to? My Haynes manual says 200 in/lbs, yes INCH POUNDS! How wrong is that? My torque wrench and all that Ive ever seen only go in ft/lbs. So I THINK that it converts to 16.5 ft/lbs but is it different for the V8 or am I just wrong in general?

Thanks everyone

nope.
200 in/lbs is 16.6 ft/lbs. So I a regular ol torque wrench will be fine. V8 is the same but bigger bore. No new throttle body sensors, they are the same too.

Fantastic! But I do need the V8 throttle cable right? And its just a bolt on swap right?

Just being safe and asking the stupid questions to avoid problems.

Ok so Ive seen that you need a new cable OR an adapter? Anyone know anything bout this? I think it would be easier than swapping the throttle cable, Ive never had to replace this cable so maybe its easier than I think.

Oh and is there a place I can get the screws that hold the sensors in? I took out one sensor and cleaned it up a bit.The screws on one of the other sensors didnt want to loosen and I didnt want to snap them so I left it. Just thought Id think ahead and grab extras just in case

The cable is easy to replace.....it "can" be a little tricky feeding it through the fire wall behind the gas peddal......but not always.

not sure about gettn new screws...sorry
