Angry Cruise Control "Issue"

I know this subject has been covered here before but after searching I can't find an answer to my "issue". I'd had problems with my cruise control since I got the truck used over a year ago. It's a 2004 Quad Cab 4x4 with the 4.7 motor, auto tranny. Luckily I had taken it back to the dealership before warranty was over. A couple of months after the warranty was over my cruise finally didn't work. Dodge covered the fix which turned out to be a bad brake switch.
Now I'm having problems again after it being fine for about 5 months. Now the cruise will kick off when I use the dimmer switch!!!!!! It does matter which way I go with the lights (from low to high or high to low), as soon as I use the switch the cruise shuts off! Horn still works and the air bag light is NOT on. Anyone have any ideas before I take it back to the dealership????? Sorry for the long post. Tried to include all the details. TIA

Tom

If so I wonder where? When it first went in they went through the wiring a couple of times looking for a short so they should have found it then.
And to update some more. Today I took the truck out. After I started it and waited a couple of minutes I was able to turn the cruise on. As soon as the truck moved a little it went off! It didn't matter if you turned the steering wheel or not. Looks like I'll be without cruise. Any more ideas???

idk if this is it, but the cruise controls are mounted on the steering wheel, did you check the clock spring to make sure that it doesnt have any bare wires that are maybe shorting together? idk thats my only guess seeing as what you have already covered

I'm going to talk to the dealership that worked on it and see what they think. Hope it doesn't cost too much money out of my pocket.
