Does anyone know any business or person that is selling a R/t engine for a swap and engine date would preferrably be around a 1998

 

check auto wreckers or people parting out.

 

any dakota 5.9 engine between 98-03 will work. You could do the same with a 5.9 from a ram but you will have to change oil pans. check local junkyards.
if you have a ton of money buy a crate engine from hughesengines.com or something. they're all over the place really, it just depends how much you wanna spend

 

yeah you have some pretty good options out there to make it happen.

 

Last year when I had my 3.9 I was looking for 5.9's and they were harder to find then you think.

 

i found about 10 of these engines locally only one was from an r/t but of course this is in canada oh, and the r/t had the most millage (100k miles about) but i got it dirt cheap with comp and harness 800 bucks canadian.
