nice about getting that for 300 bucks... i am not sure if it will work as the 4.7 wasn't around in 98 but i might be wrong. lets wait for some others to chime in...

new motor mounts.. might need a drive shaft
as long as you have all of the wiring it should go fairly simple

what came from teh durango?

youll need a computer
ECU
and most likely the cluster from the durango

and most of the suspension from the durango to swap over the the dakota....

whats wrong with the druango....why the swap?....how much money do u got to spend?...what kind of detail do u want to go into???

?why would he need the suspension?
they're the same thing, different bodies
the ECU is really all you're gonna need, but i'd grab all the wiring you can see just in case

the dak's and 'rangos are seriously the same thing frame and enginewise,

if he was trying to keep the 4wd, the suspension would have to change right?

if he was trying to keep the 4wd he'd be better off swapping the body of the dak onto the durango if thats even possible. But as long as you have EVERYTHING from the durango, you should be able to swap it into the dak.
