Charging problem 2000 Dakota Quad
Hi,
My 2000 Dakot Quad Cab, 4WD, 6 cyl is having a charging issue.
20 minutes after running, the battery gauge goes to zero and CHECK GAUGES comes on. I turn off the car and tuen on again, it is fine for about 5 minutes, then it happens again, one more times and it pretty much happens right away.
Let the car sit for a while and your fine for another 20 minutes.
I changed the battery and just now changed the alternator (136A)
Is the voltage regualtor in the alternator or in the computer ?
Is the computer a possiblilty for this issue ? (please say no)
What else should I be looking for ? (I check all connections)
